There isn't much one can say about the days main events except... wow.

All it took for to get things heated was for the gate to drop for the main event. The first turn of the grassy start area was all it took for James Stewart's front end to wash out, causing a chain reaction crash that took out Stewart ( San Manuel / Yamaha / JSE), Michael Byrne (Rockstar Makita Suzuki) and Andrew Short (Honda Red Bull Racing).

But that didn't stop Chad Reed and Jason Lawrence from attempting some heroics. Lawrence held a steady lead for 16 laps out of the 20-lap main event, but Chad Reed came out on top. Stewart wasn't completely out for the count however, as he did manage to get into the seventh spot.

In Lites action, Christophe Pourcel hunted down Martin Davalos (Muscle Milk KTM) for his third win of the season, and after a crash by his Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki teammate, Austin Stroupe, Pourcel now has a 15-point lead in the Lites East standings.
